For this VMware virtualization home lab, I purchased all the necessary hardware parts to construct a VMware home lab. During the process of constructing and visualizing the VMware lab, I learned about motherboards, processors, server connections, power supplies, and switches that are excellent for virtualization.
Through the course of this project, I constructed a VMware virtualization home lab from scratch. The goal of the project was to be able to simulate multiple VMware sites and support vCloud director. After completion of the project, I was able to support multiple hypervisors and switch lab hosts fairly quickly.
